About the Season Gods

About the Gods:

Born from the stars, 4 small children awoke in Voleros, a desolate and lifeless world. Terrified of being lost, the children traversed the land, searching for any of their star mothers. While together, a beautiful sense of calm surrounded them. However, when separated, the children noticed something amazing. One boy discovered the sun was always out whenever he walked during the day, and temperatures spiked as he rested, while the girl experienced something completely opposite. Another boy noticed that flowers would grow and bloom near him, while the final girl noticed that the leaves would turn red if she touched them.

Amazed by these powers, and noticing that they didn't happen while together as a group, the children agreed to part ways for a year to improve their skills. Deciding to meet in the middle of a huge lake after that year was up - they named their meeting place Haven, a sacred place for them that no other creature could enter. After the year, and meeting again in Haven, they confided in each other their discoveries and finally understood what they were: Gods.

And so, with these children, the four season countries were born. Throughout time they lived, matured and slowly grew, loving their land and the creatures that lived on it. Once every year, all four of them would meet in Haven to celebrate a successful year of peace, to tell each other stories about their countries, and to once again feel that beautiful sense of calm that would surround them as a group.

Over the millions of years that the four Season Gods lived on Voleros, they nurtured the Gijinka. A mixture of animal and mortal, each Gijinka only lived for a short 100 years, but evolved and matured under the watchful eyes of their Gods. Intelligent and kind to their world, the Gijinka were loved by the Gods, and the Gods often came to play with them.

Unknowing how long this beautiful world and the peace that surrounded it would last; the Gods of Summer, Winter, Spring and Autumn, swore to forever protect Voleros and those who lived on it... no matter what the cost.

Misc Information

- The Gods do age... but extremely slowly. When waking up in Voleros they appeared to be about 5 years old, and at present day, they appear to be around the age of 20.

- When all four Gods are together, their seasonal powers are not prominent. However, if one God was to meet with another alone, a clash will happen. For example, if the Winter God was to enter the Summer Gods country, it will still have the warm weather, but a cold northerly wind will blow through the country for as long as she visits.

- The Gods are not siblings. The Gijinka are not the Gods children, however they ARE children of the world Voleros through evolution.

- The Gods cannot reproduce, but they CAN have sex and feel pleasure from it. The guys just won't produce sperm, and the girls do not produce eggs.

- Gods cannot die normally. However they do feel pain and can get sick. Also, any wounds they receive will heal at a normal rate.

- Since they are immortal, the only way a God will "die" is if they are killed by another God. Once they are killed they are almost instantly reborn as a young child around appearing 5 years old, loosing all of their memories.

i see... a god cannot be "true" killed, but... they can be banished? you see, even the most powerfull beings can be locked away, if you have enough power (or an artifact, like a sacred blade).
